About Matthew:
Matthew graduated cum laude from Virgina Tech with a Bachelor of Architecture. He has worked in several architecture firms over the years in Pennyslvania, San Francisco and Berlin, Germany and is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accredited professional. He is currently a project coordinator for a large architecture firm in San Francisco that specializes in healthcare facilities. Matthew is also a member of the International Webmasters Association and is continuing to prefect his webmaster skills.
Matthew grew up oustide of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and moved to the West coast in 2004 to work for COLAGE, a non-profit organization for children with one or more lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender parents. Having a gay father taught him a lot about acceptance of diversity as well as the importance of reflection in our world. He has participated on numerous panels at schools and conferences and spoke with students, educators, and parents about his experiences growing up with a gay father in the midst of homophobia.
Matthew brings the structural and management strength to Maya's powerful artistic vision.
